Depending on the parameterized operating mode, the module generates signals and pulse sequences independently of the master CPU and outputs them at the digital output. The output values are specified by the user program; the start can be performed using the user program or by the digital input of the channel. Both channels can be operated independently or be connected to form a common channel with a current up to 4 A.

If the isochronous mode function is configured, the output signals are output synchronously to an equidistant OB in the CPU.
