The NIBCO® ductile iron butterfly valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 degrees) open to close. The unique molded-in EPDM seat liner with stainless steel disc is recommended for the higher pressure requirements of systems today and chemical applications the liner compatibility will permit. With the internal stem/disc geometric drive design eliminates the need for pins or bolts that may create leak paths or turbulence in the waterway. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
The NIBCO® wafer type butterfly valve provides bubble-tight shutoff at 285 psi are recommended to meet today’s higher pressure demands and for quick installation and removal from piping. The valve performs well in isolation and throttling applications, commercial, some light industrial process, and a range of chemical applications.
