Eaton DOE2016 Efficient Transformer

Effective January 1, 2016, the U.S. Department of Energy (US DOE) requires transformers manufactured and sold in the U.S. and U.S. Territories to meet higher energy efficiency requirements. Transformers manufactured and/or imported into the U.S. prior to 1/1/16 may still be sold and installed until inventories are depleted. As a major manufacturer of transformers, Eaton is redesigning transformers to meet these new requirements.
